The Action Plan to promote institutional dialogue is now available
One of the aims of the FORTIS project is to promote institutional dialogue by facilitating the knowledge and exchange of good practices concerning the different legislations in the field of private and public transport. Following an intense year of meetings and exchanges of information between the main Italian and Slovenian stakeholders, the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia has drawn up an action plan to promote institutional dialogue.
The plan foresees the establishment of a joint committee, the creation of a management platform for timely responses to emergency situations, the monitoring of actions/the establishment of co-operation regarding the control of Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGVs) traffic along the border.
The Action Plan is divided into the following phases: The analysis of the actual involvement of stakeholders, the identification of a common, planned path to encourage institutional dialogue between Italy and Slovenia concerning the field of private and public transport, the support of the Project Partners (PP) for the implementation of institutional dialogue between the Italian and Slovenian authorities with regard to the passage of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs).
