The mobility field webinars

The Interreg IPA ADRION TERRAIN project is glad to share a new valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing among stakeholders from the mobility field.

To capitalize on experiences made in the different local contexts on sustainable mobility policies and actions, the project is planning a series of 4 online capacity building webinars that will offer participants the possibility to hear about and to interact with different good practices at European level in four specific thematic fields.

In particular, TERRAIN partners representing the cities of Ljubljana (SI), Zagreb (HR), Bologna (IT) and Ioannina (GR) are organising four transnational capacity-building webinars to share best practices related to:

All four webinars will be conducted in English.

Final aim of TERRAIN webinars is to give key insights to support the advancement towards the objectives of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region and the EU sustainability goals, as highlighted in the European Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy and as progressed via the action plans of EU Mission for Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities.

The first webinar is taking place on Wednesday 26th March 2025 from 10:00 to 11:15 and will focus on Smart and Digital Mobility, showcasing innovative solutions in urban and regional development. In particular, the session aims to provide valuable insights into cutting-edge projects and foster knowledge exchange on the role of digitalization in modern mobility solutions. Discussions will highlight:

  • Digital twin technology and its role in mobility and sustainability
  • Local municipal strategies, including Ljubljana’s digital transformation
  • National initiatives to enhance mobility and accessibility for vulnerable groups
  • International good practices for sustainable urban development
