ECOLE Project Partners Visit Siemens Technopark near Passau, DE
In mid-May, the picturesque town of Ruhstorf an der Rott, near Passau, Germany, hosted the ECOLE project partnership and its stakeholders, all working together to advance circular economy practices in industrial zones across the Alpine region. The event was organized by the Technologie-Zentrum Energie (Research centre of Landshut University of Applied Sciences) as one of the project partner and featured a range of activities focused on circular progress in industry and the innovations driving it. A highlight of the event was an inspiring visit to the Siemens Technopark.
On May 16, 2025, a comprehensive stakeholder meeting took place, where project partners shared detailed updates on their progress within the ECOLE project. The intense exchange of insights was accompanied by a discussion on key challenges, particularly the importance of effective communication with stakeholders within industrial parks and strategies to enhance their motivation for participation and the transformation of their business models to funcion more sustainably.
