GeneH Project in the Spotlight of the International Conference on Gene and Cell Therapies – CTGCT Days 2025

  • 8. 7. 2025

From 15 to 17 September 2025, the international professional conference CTGCT Days 2025 will take place at Hotel Slon in Ljubljana, organized by the Center for Gene and Cell Therapy Technologies (CTGCT). The three-day event will focus on sharing the latest scientific insights in the field of gene and cell therapies and their transfer into clinical practice. The final day will be entirely dedicated to the GeneH project, in which the Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region (RRA LUR) is participating as a project partner, aiming to a higher efficiency in bringing breakthrough scientific knowledge to the patients.

Renowned international experts will present the latest developments in gene therapy for rare diseases, with the final day putting the spotlight on the GeneH project, in which a Slovenian-Portuguese partnership is striving for more efficient transfer of innovation into clinical use. The conference will conclude with a roundtable titled “Connecting Innovation and Commercialization in Gene and Cell Therapy”, which will explore the challenges and opportunities of translating cutting-edge research into market-ready solutions.

The event will bring together leading scientists, researchers, and companies from across Europe and offer an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaboration between academic, research, and business sectors.
