CulturalRoad partners meet in Copenhagen to review results and plan final activities
CulturalRoad partners gathered in Copenhagen for the project’s third General Assembly. As the project enters its final stage, the meeting focused on reviewing progress, exchanging experiences from the five demonstration sites and coordinating the remaining activities on inclusive Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM).
The first day centred on progress towards the project’s objectives and experiences with participatory planning. Partners shared findings from workshops and focus groups, discussing lessons learned in engaging citizens and stakeholders in mobility planning. Exchanges between the demonstration sites, including the Ljubljana Urban Region, provided an opportunity to compare approaches and identify common challenges.
The Five-Pointed Star Rating System was also presented, alongside recommendations for its five pillars: inclusivity, network optimisation, psychological factors, safety and acceptance. Together, these highlight the importance of a comprehensive approach to CCAM that considers people’s needs and local contexts alongside technological development.
On the second day, discussions focused on the datasets, toolkits and key performance indicators for each demonstration site. Partners coordinated plans for sharing the project’s results, including upcoming workshops and the final event, and reviewed the knowledge transfer mechanism. The meeting concluded with a collaborative workshop in which partners worked in smaller groups to refine their business model canvases.
For RRA LUR, the meeting was an opportunity to connect findings from the Ljubljana Urban Region with experiences from the other demonstration sites. These insights will support the preparation of the project’s final outputs and strategic recommendations for integrating CCAM into sustainable mobility planning.
