A brief overview of the TAAS project – Tourism as a Service:
The project brings together partners from 8 European regions with the aim of contributing to the European Smart Specialization Strategy. Focused on tourism as a whole, the partners work towards transforming tourism through accelerated digitalization and improving policy instruments that support smart and sustainable development. Tourism is a cornerstone of the European cultural and economic landscape, and its transformation is key to addressing the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. The TAAS project follows a holistic approach to tourism, ensuring that the needs of all stakeholders and users are addressed in line with sustainable principles. Key goals of the TAAS project include utilizing digital tools to ensure inclusion and sustainability in tourism practices and empowering stakeholders with knowledge and skills for innovative tourism planning and management.
